My creative thing is more of a passion project, and I'm def not ready to quit my day job. Does it make sense for me to come?
It sure does - I personally had multiple passion projects while working a day job for YEARS. I actually founded and ran 10 seasons of New Orleans Fashion Week as a passion project. I honestly didn't make a penny on that project (I now know how I could have - but that wasn't what I was in it for). I worked a side hustle as an editorial stylist for magazines - I even styled for Teen Vogue once (goals!). If you're not ready to leave your current gig - that's okay, this retreat will give you all sorts of knowledge and confidence to plan for your future!
I'm the owner of a business and would love for my manager to come to this - to get her thinking in an entrepreneurial way and to learn more about social media, marketing, etc - is this right for her?
YES! Send her! She'll learn so much and be so inspired to bring back some amazing things into your business. She'll come back with ideas of ways to up level your business and create strategic money moves. Plus, she'll thank you for investing in her education and will give so much back to you with what she learns.
I really don't know what I want to be when I grow up. Shouldn't I know by now right? Should I come, will this help?
I took a leap and left my corporate job when I was about that same age. And I had ZERO idea of what I was going to do. I thought I did - for a second - and then - nope... realized I was nowhere near truly knowing. I tried several things - failed at a few - and just kept going. COME! This will help you tap into your subconscious mind and see your creative gifts in a new way. We can figure this out together.
I wanna come, but I don't know if I can afford it.
The payment plan allows for you to pay 50% up front and remainder prior to the weekend! That's an option! I am one of those woo-woo types that believes money is all energetics (you already knew that though 😉🔮💵), so let's figure out how to make this work for you! I promise you - the revenue planning session we will have is going to help you so much to learn how to grow your dollar bill status.
I already started my business, but I seriously feel like I'm under charging and that my clients just don't get it. Will we spend time on this at the retreat?
Yes yes yes. That's a worth / value thing. I learned that lesson the hard way - and it's truly better to have 5 amazing clients that you love, that will pay you what you're worth, than 20 that don't get it and you're chasing down for payments. We'll work on alllll of that.
Will we get to see New Orleans while we're in for the weekend?
Yes! The retreat consists of classroom time for about 4 hours a day and then immersive experiences out in one of the most magical cities in the world!
Will there be time for creating content for our businesses or personal social media?
YES! We have a professional studio space available to us if you'd like to create product photos, or use a white back drop for image creation. We also have a photo walk scheduled in which you'll be able to take photos and a morning sunrise photo session too.
What time can I check in on Thursday, September 12?
4 PM is early check in for those staying in the host hotel. For everyone else - our evening begins with the welcome dinner at 6 PM.
Is the Day Pass for locals for one day only?
No! The day pass includes the entire weekend -- you'll come everyday - including the welcome dinner evening.
What if I have a dietary restriction?
Our meals at the studio will be vegetarian -- however, if you have allergies or sensitivities please communicate that information before your arrival and we'll happily accommodate!
I'm new to yoga and meditation - what level will the classes be?
The program is designed for women of all levels of experience. If you've never stepped foot on a yoga mat - that's okay! There will be adjustments for you if yoga is new to you! If you're more advanced, we're ready for you too.
